Danbury Police Department, Danbury, CT
Mack Fire Protection, LLC was contracted by KBE Building Corporation to design, supply and install numerous special hazard systems throughout this 75,000 square foot new police facility.
The project presented several challenging areas, including a shooting range, parking garage, multiple cells and a highly sensitive dispatch/data center.
Well over 1000 sprinkler heads were needed to complete this design which included multiple Dry Systems for the garage, Wet Systems, Pre-Action Systems, FM-200 systems and Air Sampling Technologies for the Dispatch Center.
KBE and MFP have both been recognized by The Associated Builders and Contractors of CT, for the outstanding work performed at the Danbury Police Facility. KBE and MFP continue to work hand and hand on multiple other projects throughout the state of CT ranging from new municipal buildings to fast track Lowe’s Home Centers.
Wallingford Library, Wallingford, CT
A.P. Construction Company contracted with Mack Fire Protection, LLC to design, supply and install complete fire protection throughout this 65,000 square foot facility.
This property required over 700 wet sprinklers carefully spaced with the addition of a Dry System to protect the loading dock area. MFP worked closely with A.P. Construction and other trades to coordinate a work schedule that allowed the Library to remain open during construction.
The project was completed on time with no down time to the owner.
Darien Library, Darien, CT
A.P. Construction Company contracted with Mack Fire Protection, LLC to design, supply and install complete fire protection throughout this 54,000 square foot facility.
This architecturally challenging building required over 700 wet sprinklers and a Pre-Action System to protect the Data Room. This state-of-the-art building required extensive pre-construction engineering to address the many ceiling slopes and elevation changes throughout.
All that pre-engineering paid off with the sprinkler system being installed in perfect harmony with all the lighting and ceiling systems. MFP has been retained by the owner to perform NFPA 25 quarterly inspections, testing and routine maintenance.
The company has always been able to perform the work as scheduled. You never have to be concerned with Mack Fire Protection's performance, which allows you to focus on other activities. They always center all the sprinkler heads on ceiling tiles and ensure the tile is not marked by finge
